Night in the tent

6th May 2019

Hugh and I spent last Saturday night in Yellowhammer. It was a real treat. A gaudy cock pheasant strutted past the window, we enjoyed the sunset from the decking and then after a cosy evening with friends there was a clear night and we could appreciate the stars. With no light pollution it was an impressive sight. We then went to sleep listening to owls hooting in the wood and woke up to a couple of hares beside the tent. Talk about getting away from it all!
